Maths Word Problems
Respect
WALT: Create a DLO about Respect
This week for writing our teacher (Miss Peters) gave us a task where we had to create a DLO about respect, and what it means.
I really enjoyed creating this because it was fun decorating it.
Maybe next time I could try and add more detail.

Human Changes to the Environment
WALT: Write down what we learned in the Book of knowledge/Comprehension.
This week for reading, I read an article called Human Changes to the Environment which explains how humans were in the natural food chain before we came into the modern age with all our machines and cities.
The task was to write down 2 or more things we learned from the article.
I also learned that every plant and animal in the natural ecosystem depends on other plants or animals for its survival.

Harakeke bracelets
WALT: Write a recount on what we did at tech
This week at tech we created a Harakeke/flax bracelet to give to someone.
I learned how to make a harakeke bracelet.
I enjoyed going to tech because making those were really fun.
I found it challenging because it was a bit hard to get used to the folding pattern, but once I got used to it, it was really easy.
Next time I will improve on making the folds tighter because to me the folds were loose.
Olivia's Maths word problems
WALT: Create our own maths word problems
This week I created 4 maths word problems, 2 on each slide.
I enjoyed creating word problems because they were fun.
I found it challenging to come up with equations for my word problems.
Next time I will improve on making more word problems because in my opinion 4 isn't enough for my age group.
